This could be an easy one for a watcher of My Name is Earl. On the
"Monkeys in Space" episode last night there was some good music. I
have already snooped around the web a little. On the TV Land website
someone posted a few of the songs used on the show last night - "Time
Has Come Today" by The Chambers Brothers, "Peace Frog" by The Doors,
"The Weight" by The Band. However there was at least one more recent
song that was very familiar, that was played when Earl was attempting
to rush around to get the newspaper/get donuts/pick up granny in time.

In addition to the songs you've mentioned, another song that was in
last night's episode was "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," by Jet. You can
listen to a clip here:

Please let me know if this is the right song.
