I'm trying to find a way to control and restrict internet access for some computers like blocking MSN and Yahoo Messenger and certain websites. I posted a question about that but didn't get any answer, but in the comments someone suggested CCProxy so i downloaded it from youngzsoft.net and ran it. i read the installation instruction on the website but i have no idea what i'm doing. we share internet access on a LAN, it's basically 4 computers connected to a 4 port modem (Alcatel Speedtouch). what i need to do is limit internet access for some users, and i have no idea how to do that. please help !! |

I used CCProxy a long time some years ago before switching to a wireless router and found that the company is fairly receptive and promptly responsive to emails when you're in a jam. They are Eastern European if memory serves me correctly and there was occassionally some problem with the language barrier with the support team but other than that they seemed pretty helpful to me. If I were you I'd email them with my question. tutuzdad-ga |
