James Frey books (a million little pieces, my friend leonard)-are the
characters Lily and Leonard real? Any substantial facts to support
that? Which other characters are fabricated? Not worried about
events-just the characters.

He admitted on Oprah's live show, that Lilly was a real person.
However, she didn't commit suicide by hanging. She slit her wrists...
that's what he said.

He also said on the same show, that Leonard was real. However the
time James Frey spent in jail was not anywhere near 3 months. He was
incarcerated for several hours.

Wintersun,

With all due respect... How would anyone know already what you know?
The comment you received was just that, a comment. Notice how it is in
the comments section, and not the answer box?

The original analysis of Frey's book that prompted this controversy is
published on a well-known website called The Smoking Gun:

graves, etc. I HAVE done exhaustive research already on it, but who
really knows but him?? (james frey) And he's not talking or being
truthfull, imo.
Anyone at the half-way house/hazelton, leonards peeps, etc..
