I am trying to find two books that my son loved when he was a child.
One book was about some dogs that had all types of balls. I remember
one line about balls in the hall. The other book was about some cars
that were in a garage and discovered a plot to tear it down.

In approximately what year did your son read these books?

The ball book was read in 1991-1992. However, I believe we bought it
at a garage sale so it was not new. After thinking about it more last
night, it had more animals than dogs. There was a lion and a giraffe
for sure and probably more. The begining of the book started along
the lines of big ball, small ball, green ball, red ball, etc. In the
end the animals were in a hot air balloon for some reason and there
were balls all along a "great wall" type of structure.

The car book was probably in 1994 or 1995. After more thought last
night we believe the name of one of the cars was Zoomer and possibly a
Tinker. There were two mechanics, possibly brothers, that tried to
make the two or three story parking garage appear haunted so they
could take possession.

Hi randyinga,

I believe I have located the second book you are looking for. Please
let me know if this sounds familiar:

"The Zoomers investigate the appearance of a ghostly car that has been
haunting the Bumper Brothers' parking garage and ruining their
business."

I still haven't had any luck locating the first book. Perhaps you
would like to split this question into two separate ones so that
another researcher may be able to locate the other book for you.

Waiting to hear your views.

Best regards,
Rainbow

Thanks Rainbow. What do I need to do to split the question and get
the name of this book?

Hi randyinga,

Thank you for your clarification.

I take it the book I described is the correct one? I will unlock this
question so that perhaps you would like to change the price
accordingly. I can then lock it again and answer it.
You can then repost another question asking for the first book.

Best regards,
Rainbow

That description is correct. We can leave it the way it was and if I
want to ask the other question I will start from scratch.

Thanks for all of the help. I can't believe Rainbow found it with the
book for me in one day. I think I have the real test on my current
one.
