We are looking for a child's stuffed dog named "Chester" by the
manufacturer (we don't know the name of the manufacturer but that was
the name on the the dog's "tag"). The dog given to us as a gift around
1996 or 1997 (we live in New York City) and we lost it several years
ago. We're looking for a replacement. The dog looks kind of like
Snoopy, only his fur is more beige and he has brown ears and a brown
tail and a red ribbon on his neck. Our son is still sad about losing
it after 3 years and we are trying to make his birthday a great
suprise. If you're knowledgable about the toy industry maybe you could
dig up the manufacturer for us. Do you think you could help?

He seems to fit your description (i.e., similar to Snoopy but more

He was made in 1994 by Ganz.
