Arizona Law - My sister and brother in law verbally gave me this
manufactured home and property, because after a month long hospital
stay, they thought I was going to die, and did not put MY 2 properties
up for sale. They let them go into forclosure. I lost $100,000 in
equity. I have lived here for 6 years. Now, my sister died a year
ago, and her husband now wants $80,000 for the home I live in, or to
move in 30 days! What can I do about this?? I have no money. My
income is $744 a month social security. I am in rural Yavapai County,
and have one set of developmentally challenged twin daughters, age 20,
both unemployed.

As a general rule, with real Property, only WRITTEN contracts are
valid. This is such a solid rule that even if you could absolutely
prove there was a verbal agreement, that agreement would not be
enforceable to transfer the real property. That does not mean there
might not be a way in a rare case to win a financial damage if one can
prove harm/fraud, etc, but that would be an uphill battle.

Since each state may have different laws, or different ways of
interpreting laws, it is best to see an attorney in your state.

"parol evidence" is a good term to use for google searching on this issue.

This is another example of a person having major problems because of a
complete lack of legal training for most of our citizens.

Property usually does not go into forclosure for months after payment
stops. Do you know for a fact it was foreclosed on?
