I am a light smoker (about 2-3 tokes 2-3 times a week for 2 weeks then I take 2 weeks off) I weight 200 lbs and I am 6'0 tall. I have an average metabolism and I get good exercise 3 days a week and i am active the rest of the week. I am about 25 lbs overweight. I recently took a urine screen for a job and it had been 11 days since my last smoke. When i got home afterwords i took a toke and remembered I had an old (1 year old) home urine test. I figured if I acted quick enough it would not affect my test results. I took my home test about 3-5 minutes later thinking it would not hit my bloodstream that fast. I tested positive so I assumed my urine screen for the job will be positive. 3 days later I take a new home test and I test negative. My question is this: If it was 11 days since my last toke and I test positive (assuming the new toke did not reach my bloodstream)how can I test negative 3 days later after a new big toke or could the new toke actually affect the first test 3-5 minutes after smoking? If it cant hit my bloodstream that fast (3-5 minutes) it does'nt make since to me that I would be negative just 3 days later after a new toke. |
