  I am working on a school project and would like the following answered:

(1)	How big in dollars is the US retail channel for computer equipment
for 2005. Which includes computers, monitors, printers and computer
accessories. This includes toners, cables and scanners.  Please do not
include books, software or services. Please include sales figures for
chains and independents. Please do not include E-commerce.

(2)	Of this number, please include percentages and unit figures. I am
specifically curious about: computer desktops, laser printers &
toners, computer cables and monitors. (IE Laser Printers make up xx%
of all U.S. retails sales and there were xx million units sold.)

I think this information is easily available thru trade magazines if
you know where to look. I will be willing to negotiate for accurate
