Question ID: 439108
I am a grad student and in a jam about where to find 20 resources for
a monster paper I have to write. The subject is "Alignment of
Athletic Programs Grades 8-12." I need 20 resources (i.e. books,
websites, journals, online resources, magazine articles etc.) and ways
to get to these resources. There is no set min. or max. of each type
of resource, I just need 20 good ones. I have access to many online
journal/book/magazine search engines, meaning I can get to a great
amount of resources once they are found. The subject of these
resources can be any or all of the following: development of athletic
programs grades 8-12, curriculums of grades 8-12 athletic programs,
innovations in grades 8-12 athletic programs, legal liabilities in
grades 8-12 athletic programs, anything interesting and/or noteworthy
about grades 8-12 athletic programs. So I just need 20 resources of
the subjects written above and how to attain access to them. Your
help is greatly appreciated.

Have a look at this Google Scholar link:

http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=%22high+school%22+athletic+%28curriculum+OR+programs%29&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Search

and let me know if any of these are on target for your needs.

If so, I can probably pull out 20 or so good ones. But as for access,
that depends entirely on which databases you have...you'll probably
need to locate these on your own.

Is that OK?

Good morning, I appreciate you getting on to this. I'm sure you are
busy. I checked out the link and some of these on on track. Looking
at those gave me a taste of what I'm looking for. I'm looking for
trends as opposed to isolated cases. I'm curious to find what is
becoming mainstream (i.e. rise in drug use, graduation rates, college
signees) as opposed to an isolated drug-overdose case or something
similar.

You asked if I would find these sources on my own. In google scholar,
is there text or just where to find the information. I'd like to have
something that I can read. I hope this helps. Thanks again.

Furthermore, A few sources on the same trend in 8-12 athletics would
be a good thing instead of 20 different trnds. If I could narrow the
search to no more than 5 trends with 20 resources that would be
teriffic. I hope this helps. Thank you
