Hi!!

Try with the windows XP Clean Manager:
click on Start button, choose Run, type in cleanmgr and press enter.
Select the D: partition and select the select the files to be deleted.

If this is not enough and you have a CD burner you can save data to a CD-Rom.

Hope this helps you. Let me know how it works.

To answer that we need to know if in the partition D: you have
installed any operative system or if it is only a "store" partition.

You could also just try emptying the recycle bin on drive D.

Delete your temp Files and the temp Files of Windows Updates. The
Windows Update Tempfiles are under c:\windows or c:\winnt They look
like $NTuninstall...

Otherwise you can install an undelete Tool with this Tools you can undo delete.

Considering that you have windows 2000 / xp installed on d drive.
Delete temp files from D:\Documents and Settings\<Users folder>\Local
Settings\Temp and also from D:\Documents and Settings\<users
folder>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. This should solve
your problem.
