Can I sync two Macs running Entourage by using my .Mac acct?

I want to sync two Macs running Entourage. Specifically sync the
calendar. I do not have an exchange server, just pop3/imap email, but
I do have a .Mac acct.

NOTE-I got rid of my Palm, and don't want a PDA anymore, I just want
to sync two Macs running Entourage by using my .Mac acct

I am told that a .Mac acct can sync iCal running on 2 different
machines. I played with it for a bit and could sync iCal with the
.Mac website, but haven?t tried syncing 2 iCal on different machine.

My thought was if .Mac can sync the two iCal together, I can buy some
software to sync Entourage to iCal and then by default the two
Entourages will be synced.

I purchased software from Mark/Space (http://www.markspace.com/ )
called The Missing Sync for Palm OS, hope that could be the bridge
software to sync iCal with Entourage, but couldn?t get it to work.
Maybe I got the wrong software.

I have 3 questions:
1 - What software or technique can I use to bridge between iCal and Entourage?
2- Can someone send me a link to some simple directions for using .Mac
to sync iCal on two different machines
3 - Can one of those machine be OS9?

Thanx in advnce,

Open iCal > File menu > Import... > Import Entourage Data

Now in SysPref > Open .Mac > Sync Tab (make sure you have checked all
the appropriate boxes) > Advanced Tab (make sure to register the
other computer in this area)

done ;)

Opps... i forgot to add this piece of info....

if you want the other computer to read your calendar then you'll need
to "Publish" your Calendar to .mac (Highlight calendar nickname >
Calendar Menu > Publish.

NOTE: When you do a publish, be sure to read the dialog box carefully
once it's done. i recommend you have it email you the link.

Now you'll need to Subscribe > Calendar Menu > Subscribe (you'll need
the url from the the .mac published calendar (the one you emailed))

you'll do this sequence on both machines

I did the Publish and Subscribe thing. Now the iCal on the home
machine can open a "read-only" ver of the calendar i published on the
work machine.

How do you get it to be read and write, not just read-only?

thx

I think i know what might be wrong. One of the systems is 10.3.9. Do
they both need to 10.4 for the 2 way sync to work (i.e. not
read-only)?

You mentioned to do the following to sync with Entourage.
Open iCal > File menu > Import... > Import Entourage Data

The thing is i don't want to import the Entourage calendar, i want to
use ical as a sync vehicle to sync my home Entourage calendar with my
work Entourage calendar, so a one time import won't work.

Is there a product that will sync ical with Entourage?

thx
