Hello, I'm looking for baby names that are of Vietnamese origin but
are easy for Americans to pronounce. Vietnamese names are difficult
to pronounce because of accent marks. However, there are some Vietnamese
names that don't have accent marks and Americans have no trouble
pronouncing them correctly. An example is Kim. It's pronounced the
same way by native Vietnamese speakers as well as Americans.
I'd like to get more examples of that. Thank you.

Hi donluan-ga,

Having a name that begins with a "D" that constantly gets
mispronounced like a "?", not to mention being mistaken for a much
more popular name with a different tone, I can understand your fears.
Are you looking for girl names or boy names? How many names would you
consider adequate?

Thanks,
secret901-ga

Hello secret901-ga, since we don't know whether it'll be a boy or a
girl, I'm looking both boy and girl names. I'd like 3 of each (for a
total of 6).

Thank you.

Trang (girl)

Here are also some names that might lose a diacritical mark when
Westernized, but should still be easily pronounced
H?i (boy)
S?n (boy)
Tú (boy)
Thái (boy)
Châu (girl)
Khôi (boy)
Hà (girl)

I hope this exceeds your expectations. If you need more names, please
