Dear dickey,

What a fascinating and puzzling problem. A first quick search revealed
absolutely nothing - the name "Thedlison" seems not even to exist.

Does the poster include any additional information, such as a place
name or anything else? Maybe you have a photo of the poster that you
could put online? It might prove helpful.

I checked some pretty good aviation/historical sources and am coming
up blank.  A place (even just country) would be a valuable addition. 
I tried a variety of alternate spellings too and was not successful
with any of the following:
Thedlisson
TH Edlison
TH Edlisson
TH Edison

Yeah, that's been the extent of what I've been able to learn in the 20
or so years or so that I've had the poster.  other than a view of a
man standing in the basket of a balloon, with an anchor hanging out of
one end and an american flag with an uncountabe number of stars on it
hanging out the other, but having 6 red stripes and 6 white ones,
which I suspect is an error.  There are no buildings or scenery on it.
 18" wide, and 24" high.I could probably shoot it and email it to
someone, since I know how to do that, but as for putting it on line,
if that's something different, I don't know how to do it.  Dick
