What 100 counties in the US have the highest crime and homicide rates and what was the percentage of the vote that Kerry and Bush received in these counties? I am looking for something like the following table: County State Homicide/100000 Other violent Crime Non-violent crime Kerry Bush Baldwin AL 20 300 600 39 61 Per Capita or per 100,000 would be fine. Per 100,000 prefered. Also, if getting the top 100 is a lot of trouble the top 50-75 would be ok. It would be great if these data were in an Excel spreadsheet compatible format but as a straight text table would be fine as well. |

Since most traditional criminals are not registered to vote, the voting by criminals is rare. Also the crime rate may reflect the attitudes of public servants, more than it does the number of crimes and the number of criminals. Can you explain why you think these statistics might be meaningful? Neil |

I am not asking about voting by criminals. I wish to know the Bush/Kerry vote in those counties of the United States that have a very high incidence of crime. |
