How many resturants are there in the United States and in New York
City? Where can I get logitudinal data [1900-present]?

I'm looking for as many sources as possible and I really appreciate
any assistance you could give me.

I'll guess 200,000 resturants in the USA. That would be 3000 customers
per week, average, if 200 million citizens average three visits per
week. I'm including work and school cafeterias as well as fast food
places, but generally not convenience stores such as 7-11.   Neil
