Greetings! I, too, searched Cook City and found only scanner
frequencies and something about a road closing. LOL However, from
one of the listings I saw it spelled also as "Cooke City" so I then
searched Cooke City, Montana, and discovered a few sites for you. It
seems to be the same Cook City because both are located close to
Yellowstone National Park.

Towards the bottom of the first site on Cooke City, there is the
following information:

A short history of the Cooke City store, By Ralph Glidden, prop

Nordquist Cabins A true early day Yellowstone Motor Lodge. By the
early 1960's
this landmark was showing disrepair. This photo was taken about 1988

Ma Perkins Cafe. Millions of meals were served over the years in this
grand little cafe. It too has passed by the wayside and is now a
grocery store.

Trolling on Main St ..Parade Grand Marshalls From the short lived Pig
Daze Celebration.

Beartooth Pass. The area Charles Kuralt called one of the most
beautiful place on earth!

Pilot and index peaks ..Chief Joseph Scenic Byway Both of these scenic
views are spectacular. The beauty is typical of the area.

Each of those descriptions above have live links on the site to learn
more about them. Also, at the very bottom of that page is the
following "Where to stay?" information:

Cooke City Sinclair and Cabins 1-406-838-2000 Website
Alpine Motel 1-406-838-2262 Website
Antlers Lodge 1-406-838-2432 Website
Big Bear Lodge, 1-406-838-2267Website
Grizzly Lodge,(Silvergate) 1-406-838-2219 Website
Range Riders Lodge,(Silvergate)1-406-838-2359
Hoosier Motel (Cooke City)
Skyline Guest Ranch1 - 877 - 238 - 8885 Website
Big Moose Resort, 1-406-838-2393
Elkhorn Lodge, 1-406-838-2332
Silver Gate Cabins, (silvergate) 1-406-838-2371
Whispering Pines (Silvergate) 1-406-838-2228

The "website" word is a link to that place mentioned (you will see
when you visit the site there are additional links and many photos).
Also, the Chamber of Commerce may be contacted at Cooke City/Silver
Gate Chamber of Commerce, Box 1071, Cooke City, MT 59020 (406)
838-2495. You may want to request additional information about the
city from them. (Their website link is below.)

That part of the country looks like a gorgeous spot, and I am happy to
have been of service in your quest. : )

PS To search for a city's site, usually adding "Chamber of Commerce"
to the city name will produce a listing, if one exists online. In
this case, the alternate spelling proved helpful so always try
different spellings when one doesn't produce results.

The Open Directory contains categories for many towns and cities.
Their Cooke City category can be found here:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Montana/Localities/C/Cooke_City/

which lists the following link for Sanders Big Bear Lodge, which
appears to be a local lodge which offers fishing trips and pack trips.
No luck finding a hot springs, but this lodge does have a hot tub.

Look at the following website. it leasts several developed hotsprings
in MT. I personaly have been to Chico hotsprings and it is a fun
place specially at halloween and new years.

Also Chico ia close to one of the entrances to Yellowstone park. Well
relativelly close as nothing in MT is close.
