Hi!

I am looking for a shortlist of the 5 or 10 major mobile phone
specialist retailer chains in the USA.


CONTEXT:

Mobile phones in Europe are distributed through a series of channels:
- The network operators (carriers) have their own shops
- Supermarkets and other major retail chains (such as say Radioshack)
also distribute mobile phones
- Some pops and moms specialist stores focus on selling mobile phones
(and only mobile phones)
- And there are a few specialist mobile phone retail chains which also
focus on selling only Mobile Phones. For example, there is a company
in the UK called the CarphoneWarehouse which has a chain of 500 shops
across the UK which only sell mobile phones / operator packages.


QUESTION:

I am essentially looking for US companies that are similar to the
CarphoneWarehouse in the UK; i.e. companies (not network operators or
carriers) with a large number of shops that only (or mostly) sell
mobile phones / operator packages.

If sales of mobile phones through the internet are big in the USA,
then I am also interested in the names of the bigger internet
retailers.

Brownie points as well if you are able to point out those chains that
do not focus purely on the mass market but that also sell to self
employed workers or small businesses!

BTW, I just need a rough idea of who these retailers are. No worries
if you missed one of the big guys and no need for a list which gives
me the names of the guys in the right order.
