What is a invalid backweb application ID ? I get a pop up window every
time I start my computer. The window says "Runner Error" at the top of
the window

It seems to be that you have downloaded a program that contains
spyware or adware. The spyware or adware has been removed but the
program requires the spyware to be installed in order to run, without
it you will get the Run Time error. This program runs on startup so
you will have to uninstall the program that had the spyware associated
with it. Run Msconfig from the Start > Run window and turn off the
progam that you downloaded, or uninstall the program.

If you still cannot find the program do a search for files that
contain the word Backweb and uninstall it.

I suggest using Adaware, Spyboy, and HijackThis! to remove all spyware
and adware.  Then, as an extreme measure, backup all your personal
files, format your hard drive, and reinstall your operating system.

Please don't automatically assume you need to reinstall your operating
system. Downloading those programs fix some stuff but what do you
usually get for free? Not much. Go to eacceleration.com and run a stop
sign scan- the scan is free and it will show any infections you have.
to get rid of them you have to buy the program but this is the only
bundled software I have found that works for under $60.00 a year.
