Approximately 6 years ago, someone broke into my home and took, among
other things, my jewelry box. Some items were unique and I wonder if
there is any sort of registry where I could see if something has
turned up - either like an unclaimed goods site, or pawn shop
registry, etc. At the time I was living in Northeastern Ohio -
mid-way between Cleveland and Akron in Summit County. I realize this
is a long shot. I did check out the local pawn shops for awhile, but
have since moved from the area. The local small town cops were/are
useless. I am especially interested in finding my class ring.

I can't help you with the unique jewelry. Unfortunatly there is no
central registry of lost and found goods. There is, however, a web
site devoted to lost and found class rings. Please let me know if this
suffices as an answer even though your ring might not necesssarily be
among those listed in the database (yet...if ever).
