Do you have ArrayManager or the PERC utility installed? Go to the array manager console Go to the controller view From the menu, pause i/o (be Careful here) Reseed the drive. From the menu, click on rescan. Then it should to automaticall detect the new drive. Select the drive, Right Click on the new detected drive and add to the existing array. then select the entire vitual array and select to recreate the raid array. |

Are these Firmware Utilties? (The ArrayManager and PERC utility) The server itself is running Linux Redhat 7.3. |
