I am a CT resident and received a small claims judgment against a CT
business in July. I forwarded the judgment to a CT marshal for
execution. The marshal wasted four months and did nothing more than
contact local banks, but found no bank accounts. Over the period, I
called the marshal on several occasions, but he never returned my
calls. So I ended up contacting the Marshals Administration in
Hartford, CT to find out what was going on. Only then did he return
the paperwork, showing what little he had done and marking it
Unsatisfied. I have to I believe that more could have been done to
get this satisified, including a personal visit to the defendant's
business venue. So I'm look for productive methods for getting this
judgment satisfied.
