In a condo association I was in charge of maintenance for several
years. The condo association,of which I'm a part of decided they
couldn't afford to pay me anymore. If sometime in the near future
afterward the association hires somebody else to do what I did and
pays them,do I have any legal recourse?Would me being disabled affect
your answer?

You would have to prove that your discharge was for other than the one
they gave you and an illegal one at that. That is a pretty high
standard to make. Since budgets are usually for a year at a time, if
they hire someone in the year you were discharged without an increase
in fees that might look suspect. However, if they hire someone in a
subsequent year that is less suspect, especially if they raise the fee
to help pay the salary.

You can sue for anything, but it can be difficult to win.

Can you prove they fired you because you were disabled - but still
capable of doing the job?

For piece of mind you should talk to a real lawyer - some will do a
free consultation, or you might have to pay for an hour, but I
strongly suspect that they will suggest that it would be to expesive
to sue - with low expectations of a small payoff.

Google answers does not give specific legal advice - if only to know
your options, just talk to a real lawyer...
