Hi! I am interested in knowing who are the 5 or 10 major Business IT equipment Resellers in the US. I don't need them in order, I just need to have a rough idea of who they are! Definition of Business IT Equipment Resellers: Companies that sell IT equipment (and services) to business users. Typically, if you run a business, you will look for an IT equipment reseller to provide you with computers, link them up etc. These resellers usually do not make the equipment themselves but they would resell equipment from say IBM, Apple etc. I am NOT interested in equipment manufacturers or Systems Integrators (companies that integrate together complex IT systems - they are similar to IT resellers except that what they sell is more "evolved", higher value added). Systems integrators include: IBM global services, EDS, Siemens Business Solutions, Accenture, KPMG, CGEY etc. Good luck and many thanks in advance |

Ones that I've used: CDW, Insight, PCConnection/GovConnection (formerly MicroWarehouse), Newegg, CompUSA (when I'm in a pinch), Anixter (for physical supplies like cable and Panduit products), Black Box (manufacturer and reseller). Hope this helps. --Brian |
