If I know the Registrant (i.e., the *individual* who registered it) of an Internet domain, how can I use this information to find all other domains registered to the same person and/or using the same information? The information I'm interested is the data entered in the Registrant, Administrative and Contact portion of a domain registration record. This would include things like first and last name, home address, telephone and email address. Note: the Registrar and Name Server fields are not what I need to search on. Please supply examples of the search syntaxes I need, and a free URL where I can perform these specific types of searches. Thanks for your assistance. - Doug | |

The exact system you're looking for exist. The term is called "Reverse Whois". Instead of having a domain and finding ownership info. You start with a piece of ownership and find domain or domains that the particular owner is connected to. The best and most up to date reverse whois is run by a company called MarkMonitor.com. Many large lawfirms and brandholders use it to track down domain squatters and the like. Probably the most direct URL: http://www.markmonitor.com/solutions/brandprotection/ -cb |
