What I'm looking for

I am looking for at least two distribution agencies or agents that
specialize in TV content distribution. The company or person I'm
looking for would market my content and offer it to be licensed to
various broadcasting companies. I'm looking for distribution in
English and Spanish speaking markets, but I'm open to any other
markets you might find as well. The program has been translated into
several laguages already...

A good answer would then be a list of links that lead me directly to a
contact form or to an specific person (distribution agencies or
agents) that could very possibly work on my contents (see details).
I'm based in Barcelona (Spain), so I should be able to get in contact
with the agencies or agents by email.

Details

I am an small TV producer and I have a pack of 300 quiz like TV
programs that last 30 seconds each. Each program asks a question to
the audience and in a few seconds gives an answer backed up by
verified sources. The answer is always funny, shocking or plain
incredible (that's the real value of the program)

As you probably guessed, the program is oriented at 24 hours news
channels. It's been aired for a full year at a 24 hours news channel
based in Barcelona, Spain. Now that this channel is about to end
broadcasting the program I regain it's rights and I'd like to try to
have it broadcast anywhere else in the world.

From this other Google Answer
(http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=560947) I understand
I need an agent that does more than the initial paperwork, someone who
initiates the contact and follows throught on any subsequent deals.

What I'm not looking for

Getting in touch with each and every TV network or station and
following through each of their requirements and protocols is too time
consuming for me. Even if you hand me the names and adresses of each
important news station content manager. Thus, a list of contact names
and adresses of content adquisitions managers for TV stations or
networks is not what I'm looking for.

I'm based in Barcelona, Spain, but my content has been already
translated into several languages so the contacts you find can be from
*any* country, but ofcourse I should have to be able to do business
with them, meaning that they should be able to accept contents from me
(a TV producer based in spain).

Please, let me know if you require any more information or you have
any observations. And thank you in advance!

Take a look at these folks, and let me know if you think this is the
sort of distribution company you're looking for:

http://www.gsn.com/corporate/
GSN, the network for games, is the only U.S. television network
dedicated to game-related programming and interactive game playing.

For GSN distribution inquires: Email distribution@gsn.com

Good luck.

Hello Pafalafa,

Thank you for investing time into my question. I took a look at GSN,
but that's not what I'm looking for. Basically because of one reason:
GSN is a TV network.

As you can read in "What I'm not looking for" in my original question,
I'm not looking for TV networks or channels but content distributors
agents or companies. While a network is a content distributor in
itself (among it's own channels) what I'm looking for is an
independent person or company who'd distribute my content among
different networks and/or TV stations. Why, anyways? Well, each
network and each TV has it's own policies, adquisition times, rules,
requirements etc. I believe that a person who has worked with several
of this possible clients will be much more knowlegeable and effcient
at distributing and selling my content than myself. Another equally
important reason is that as I keep on producing content I can't really
invest the required time to look into each and every possible client
myself, following up on their usually long and winded adquisition
procedures.

Thank you anyways, let me know if you find something else.

Hello Witsandknowledge,

Thank you for your comment. El terrat and Globomedia are very
important local production companies. They basically produce fiction
contents, and I'm sure they've sold some of their own content
overseas. I don't think they will be interested in distributing my
content, but if this question expires without an answer I might as
well try and call them. Thank you again.
