What are the pros and cons between telephone intervention and written
education for health education and/or motivation of individuals?

I think you need to give some examples. Are you trying to motivate
people to eat more fruits and vegetables, or to get them to use
condoms with their multiple sex parteners. If the latter, a pamphlet
will seem less intrusive than telephone. For small scale promotions
the phone calls will be more effective per dollar spent, in my
opinion, in many situations.  Neil
