Dear statman,
Being an avid music collector myself, I know only too well that
discographic information is often hard to find. In this case, the
result of my research is that Von Dexter obviously released only two
records, both of them longplayers, one of them being the LP "Like
Yesterday" you mentioned. Here is information about those two records:
"Music Of Ralph Edwards", 1958
Von Dexter & His Orchestra
Imperial LP 9051 (mono)
Imperial LP 12004 (stereo)
Tracks:
- Makin' Whoopee
- Dinah
- That's My Desire
- Champagne Waltz
- Pennies From Heaven
- This Is Your Life
- Who Will Shoe Your Pretty Little Foot
- Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen
- Hawaiian War Chant
- Rose Room
- Cheerful Little Earful
- Danny Boy
"Like Yesterday", 1961
Von Dexter Orchestra
Imperial LP 9124 (mono)
Imperial LP 12061 (stereo)
Tracks: Identical with "Music Of Ralph Edwards"
I found no whatsoever references to other records released under Von
Dexter's name. I hope that this is not too disappointing.
Regards,
Scriptor
