Hi!

I really doubt if you can get a direct line or direct office contact
with these high ranking people. Would the name of the Marketing
executive and the general company address be ok with you?

Plus do you need the different names of marketing executives? What if
only one name for the marketing department is available, will this
still be ok?

Yes we would like you to send us your list.

Thanks!

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 03 Feb 2006 11:53 PST
Hi easterangel-ga,

One name in the department is fine - since the CMO should be the
department head. General company address is also fine. Here are a
few examples of what I am looking for:

Adam S.
 Helfant
 VP, Global Sports Marketing
 NIKE, Inc
 1 Bowerman Dr. JM1
 Beaverton
 OR
 97005-6453
 USA
 5036716453
 5036716300

Jim
 Beeman
 Director, Marketing, Nike USA
 NIKE, Inc
 1 Bowerman Dr.
 Beaverton
 OR
 97005-6453
 USA
 5036716453
 5036716300

John
 Capriotti
 Global Sports Marketing Director
 NIKE, Inc
 1 Bowerman Dr. MH3
 Beaverton
 OR
 97005-6453
 USA
 5036716453
 5036716300

Trevor
 Edwards
 VP, Global Brand Management
 NIKE, Inc
 1 Bowerman Dr. NRA 2

Also we have some of the data already in. How can we send this over
to you so that there is no doubling of efforts.

Thanks

Hi again! Thank you for responding.

Can you copy and paste your data here? If you can't maybe you can
upload the file into an oline storage like:

http://files.villagephotos.com/login.asp

or

http://www.yousendit.com/

Thanks again.

Hi - Is there another secure way to send you the data? Maybe an email address?

Hi -

I have uploaded it on villagephotos.com. This is the first set of
company names that we need contact details for. Will send the next
batch in a day or two. The url is

Hi again.

I will format the list in Excel file.

One problem though is the email. Again no direct email for the
executives should be expected and also most of the time you can only
send email through a contact form at the website? Would you like the
link to the contact form instead? Or should I just scrap the email in
cases like these?

Thanks.

Hi again.

I am now doing the list.

Before I go on, I would just like to suggest at this point if it is ok
with you to completely scrap the email requirement since these
companies really don't want to publish it and for very good reasons as
well.

Please reply ASAP.

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 08 Feb 2006 18:40 PST
No email is fine. I will be sending the rest of the company names in
a day or two. Once you have completed the second list - the project
will be done.

Thanks

Hi!

Just so as I can determine if we are indeed on the same page, I am
sending a partially made work so you can check if I am on the right
track. Please take note that I only got the head of the marketing
department here.

http://h1.ripway.com/easter2005/Hi-techlist-google-partial.xls

In the case of a company like Comcast, it doesn't provide public info
on the overall marketing head but it has marketing heads on different
subsidiaries. Would any of these subsidiaries be fine as well?

Thank you for your patience.

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 09 Feb 2006 10:27 PST
Hi there -

The list is great! Except for Motorola. We are not looking for Sales
and Business Dev. folks. We are looking for Marketing heads. They
may have sales responsibilities also. But they definitely need to be
more marketing people.

With regards ot Ocmcast - can you get us all the dept. heads?

Also - if you are grabbing this from websites, we also needed CFOs,
CEOs and other C-suite contacts of the same companies. I can
compensate you additionally for that. Another $100.

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi!

I think the "Sales and Business Development" thing is from Google and
not Motorola. Anyway, this is the only department there that seems
close to marketing for Google. In cases like these is that ok with
you?

In terms of the other C-Suite contacts, that's ok but again it will
just be the same. I can only give names and the contact info will be
the same for all of them. You can change the price of this question
to reflect the new agreement if you want.

About Comcast, the problem I have with them is that I can't get the
marketing heads people in one website and I have to search for each
and every one of them and sometimes the data is old. I think this will
entail too much time if we will do it for the other companies on the
list. In cases like these, what other alternative can we do in
exchange for such a complexity?

Easterangel-ga

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 09 Feb 2006 13:42 PST
Hi there -

If sales and dev. is the closest thing to marketing then go ahead.
Give us what is closest. For c-suite one address is ok. I will
change the price to reflect this addition to the scope.

Regarding Comcast - please provide the department that is responsible
for most popularly used product or service. In the case of Comcast it
would be cable and internet. If you come across this same situation
with another company - do the same. Also, can you put a note next to
the company name in the spreadsheet pointing out this issue, so I am
aware that you have selected one of many departments for CMO contact.

Hope this makes sense. thanks for helping out :-)

By the way, do you want me to include the CFOs in the same file or separate file?

Thanks.

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 09 Feb 2006 15:05 PST
I have changed the pricing. CFO and C-Suite to be on a separate file if possible.

Thanks

Hi again ragah-ga!

I tried but some companies are not really registering any info as for
marketing people. Would it be ok with you if I just take note of
these?

Thanks.

Clarification of Question by ragah-ga on 09 Feb 2006 18:20 PST
Hi There - would you be able to inquire over the phone - by calling these companies?

Request for Question Clarification by easterangel-ga on 09 Feb 2006 22:13 PST
Hi!

I cannot call since I am in the Philippines.

I am now almost finished with the first list and moving onto the next
one. It seems that the data can be found after all so I'm still doing
fine. Anyway, I will keep you updated as I go along and keep you
posted if any problems occur.

Thanks.

Hi again!

I have now made some progress on the second part of the list. But it
seems that I will be hard pressed to get info for marketing people on
some companies. So far three companies have not registered information
for marketing executives. So far the following companies that do not
have the data are:

Bose
Kenwood
Lexmark

Would just taking note of the absence of some data be ok with you?

Please advice me on how to proceed.

Thanks.

Yes - Please make a note if you cannot find data.

Thanks

Hi there - wanted to checkin to see how the list is coming along.
When do you think it will get done? Once you are through with the
list, I'd like to check it. If it looks good - I have another two
vertical list that you could help me work on. Same drill - need
C-Suite and CMO contacts for companies on the list. I will up the
rate to $200 more. Let me know

Hi ragah-ga!

The list is already there in the files I uploaded just above your
recent clarification. Anyway here are the links again.

CMO File
http://h1.ripway.com/easter2005/cmo.xls

C-Suite File
http://h1.ripway.com/easter2005/csuite1.xls

Are you having trouble downloading them?

Thanks!

Request for Answer Clarification by ragah-ga on 15 Feb 2006 08:03 PST
Thanks for the files. One question - I see that in the C-suite list
there CFO names missing from many companies. Were they not on the
website. The CFO names are critical for us.

-R

Clarification of Answer by easterangel-ga on 15 Feb 2006 08:25 PST
Hi!

Yes some are missing there since I used Hoovers for it anyway these
are seemingly the most important postiions for Hoovers. Also some
companies have different structures and have different names for them
just like for the marketing titles.

Thanks again.

Can you get all the CFOs in?

Clarification of Answer by easterangel-ga on 15 Feb 2006 18:21 PST
Hi again!

I got another run around with the results and tried my best to the
websites of all companies that do not have CFO information. Those that
still didn't register anything were noted as "No CFO info" or "No
info on CFO".

Here is the resulting revised file.

Thanks.

Thanks for the updated list. One last request - I need companies that
are only US based. Many of the contacts you have provided are based
in Europe or elsewehere. Can you provide their US conterparts
contacts and addresses?

Thanks for all your help.

R

Clarification of Answer by easterangel-ga on 16 Feb 2006 15:36 PST
Here is the revised list with the US addresses. In some companies I
didn't find any US contact information so I took note of that. The US
Contact Information comes after the homeland address of the company.

By the way, how is the file with the Pharma question? Maybe we can
start it as early as we can?

Do you want it the way like we did with this one? Maybe it would be
good to be clear so taht there will be fewer errors in that question?

Thanks.

Request for Answer Clarification by ragah-ga on 16 Feb 2006 17:53 PST
Thanks - I have uploaded the company list for CPG and Pharma. Lets do
it the same way as we did this one except:
- I definitely need both CFO as well as C-suite contacts
- All contacts to be US based
- I also need Sr. Marketeers alongwith CMOs
- You will have to make a master list for each vertical (CPG and
Pharma) adding the list of contacts we have already researched that I
have uploaded.
- If you can highight with a different color - the companies that you
have found difficulty finding the right contacts it would help
identify them easily

Thanks again - R

doing your project.

Thanks.
