I am looking for information about Swami Rameshwarananda (a spiritual
guru) in India who was supposedly imprisoned some time after 1994.  Do
you have any news clippings, court proceedings, or other
documentation/information that states what
events led up to his arrest?  Can you find out how long he was
sentenced for?  I used to have contact with this person
many years ago and heard about him being jailed somewhere in India in
the mid-1990's.  I have not been able to dig up any information from
the web about his whereabouts.  He had ashrams (spiritual resting
homes) in the state of
Maharashtra and in Rishikesh, India.

Just to add that there are many gurus with the same name out there,
but I cannot find any information on the one I described to you.  His
birthday is 9/24/1956.  He was not associated with Ananda marga.
