This question has to do with Windows XP and its a very simple one but
for the life of me I can figure it out! How do I make an icon on the
desktop of my little picture that represents my Administrators
Account? My niece is on the same computer and I want to put our two
cute icons on the desk top but just can't seem to manage it. Thanks!

Hi lorenzen...

I figured out how to place the user account icons onto the desktop,
but it would be helpful to know if you want them to be clickable, and
if so, where you want them to go when clicked. If you just want them
there as a decoration, just let me know...

Yes, Cynthia, I would like them to be clickable and go into my nieces
(and mine) own set of programs. Thanks, Lana

lorenzen,

Clickable to your individual program sets? Are her programs in your User Account?

It's an awful lot of work to set up considering that XP has already
built-in the ability to switch between users via the START - LOG OFF -
SWITCH USER function. Why not set up your neice with a limited User
Account? You can switch between users in about 10 seconds. It seems
like you are trying to reinvent the wheel. XP has already made it
easy.

What am I missing here?

~~Cynthia
