Question ID: 440917
How was Carnival observed/celebrated in Venice in the years of the
second Austrian occupation (the rule of Francis I--1815-1835),
especially the 1820's? Information on events, costumes, traditions,
length of celebration, whether or not it was cancelled/outlawed at any
point. Do not need info on Carnival pre-Napoleon (1797). Info needs
to be in English.
