I have a website in the uk selling pedigree dog lover gifts.  My site
is successful here in the uk.  I would now like to sell my products to
the USA from here in the UK because we speak the same language and I
have already sold a few things successfuly to the USA by chance.  I
did a quick test on ppc in USA via Google, but there was no real extra
activity to spend more.  How do I go about promoting myself properly
in the USA? such as
registering my site for free, which search engines are best? I'm not
good at doing it myself unless it is an easy process, perhaps there is
someone that could help me? Perhaps there are some companies that
would sell my stuff for me for a commission?  My web address is
