Hi. I am writing a paper on the sudden populatity of geo related web sites or servies. I want to get some statistics that illustrate this sudden/growing popularity. I am mostly interested in the Google and Microsoft services but would also be interested in competing sites (specifically ones that serve images not just maps). I am looking for some things like - The average number of hits per day on Google Maps, Microsoft Virtual Earth, etc. The number of users or downloads of Google Earth. Statistics that show growth trends is also desirable. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Thanks in advance. |
