Hi, I use multiple monitors with Win XP at work, on my laptop. At home, I have a neat piece of software called Hydravision (http://www.ati.com/products/hydravision/) that lets me create hotkeys (most important) to mpve app's from one monitor to another, and specify which apps open on which monitor (less important). I tried to use this software on my laptop, but apparently it requires a ATI video card (which I obviously cant add to laptop). Is there other, relatively inexpensive, software I can try/use to manage multiple monitors as mentioned above? |

uc1bear, I'm glad my suggestion for your mouse question was what you needed. However, by manually expiring the question, you prevent the Researcher from officially answering it and getting paid. In future, if a clarification request provides what you need, you might consider leaving the question open after you confirm that the suggestion was indeed what you were looking for. That way, the Researcher can post the suggestion as an official answer. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=440972 Best regards, - Hammer |

Hi Hammer, I'd be glad to pay you for your efforts. I assumed that since you posted it as a Comment instead of an Answer that you were either simply offering a helpful/free suggestion, or that you were not a Google Answerer. Let me know how I can pay you, and I'd be glad to. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions/answers about my question above, feel free to post. Thx, uc |

That's okay. The system can be confusing. I just wanted to let you know for next time. For future reference, only a Researcher can post a Request For Clarification, as opposed to a Comment. We generally post a Request for Clarification when we don't fully understand the question, or we're not sure if the answer we're thinking of would actually be helpful. An RFC appears on the page in a different area than the Comments. - Hammer |
