If you are asking if your useful comment is an official answer, no,
only G-A "Researchers", whose names appear in blue, can post "answers"
and get paid for them.  All the rest of us are just trying to be
helpful.

What's it take to become a google answer researcher?

Back when I applied in April 2002, I had to write an essay explaining
why I thought I was qualified for the position, then read the
researcher guidelines. Then I was sent 20 questions, of which I had to
select 5 --and research and answer them in the correct format that is
now the norm for researchers.

They're not taking on new researchers at the present time, but you can
