I recntly purchased a print of an image of Jesus in
scripture, specifically The Sermon on the Mount. The image of Jesus is
created in the words using darker and lighter text. It is beautifully
written in "old worldish" script. The original is signed by Anna
Talbott 1928. Any idea who she was? Is there biographical information
about her anywhere? Did she produce other pieces of religious art or
literature? When and why did she create this one?

Anna Talbott, aka Anna Talbott McPherson, was a religious author and
artist. According to Abebooks.com, she's the author of Forgotten
Saints (1961), Spiritual Secrets of Famous Christians (1964), They
Dared to be Different (1967), Praying Parents Take Heart (1975), Of
His Wonders Let Tell Me (1979), and They Dared to Overcome (1983). She
illustrated Till Break of Day, Pen Sketches of Life in Bundelkhand,
Central India (1947). A post at Genealogy.com
(http://genforum.genealogy.com/mcpherson/messages/1367.html) indicates
she may have been Wesleyan.

I hope this information can help someone else locate more information
about her for you.
