A person in India , working in rural and semi urban areas with his own
job had taken amway distibution membership newly as a part time
business and working for it without leaving his main job.His
performance as a amway distributer is average.MY question is
1) what are the chances of success to him as a new distributer in
amway and how many days time it will take to him to reach various mile
stones in group point value (gpv)500gpv , 1000 gpv , 2000 gpv
,etc.upto 10000 gpv constantly from his group every month and time
required to reach the level of silver producer and gold producer

Forget the silver, gold and what other ornaments one can achieve.  You
can rattle around and think big with stars in the eyes along with big
guns.  For starter now, the chance is very slim.  I know it, for my
brother in law is toiling for the last three years.  He has almost (i
say almost, others say it is already in the dustbin) pushed his
otherwise good business into the dustbin.

I should say he has worked very hard at amway - and it has become a
noway for him.  had he joined say in 1998 and worked this hard then he
would sure be at the top.  It is too late to get to the top.

I should not have said this - but friend, this is the truth.  it is
not hearsy it is from experience - he is still hopeful of the
silver-gold and what not to the chagrin of other members of the
family.

Unfortunately I have to agree. The vast majority of the Direct Sales
and Network Marketing companies that have been around forever and it
is extremely difficult to make it big in those companies, because the
highly profitable positions in the company have already been filled
years ago.

If your brother in law is looking for an opportunity to build a
business with a company that is less than a year old, still developing
their leadership positions, and has a brand new product line that
hasn't ever been seen before, I would be glad to send more information
to him. The company is just getting started in India, and  they are
looking for leaders in that market.
