I've just purchased two tickets on a City Night Line overnight train
service from Amsterdam to Zurich. I bought the tickets for a "Deluxe
Double", which is a sleeping cabin for 2. Unfortunately it appears we
have non-consecutive seat numbers. My question(s): Does this mean we're
actually in different cabins? If we are in the same cabin, how do the
seat numbers make
sense? (A seating plan would be nice) If we're seperate, how is
booking of sleepers supposed to work online?

I booked using the www.citynightline.ch website.

In case it helps, our tickets are for "Coach 50 - Seat 106 - Deluxe
double" and "Coach 50 - Seat 102 - Deluxe double"

You are fine. The seating in first class is not sequential. The two
assigned seats you have are in the same cabin. You can find details of
the layout as well as your specific cabin at:

Have fun.
