By "Premiership" you mean that big European football competition. By "this game" you are referring to your posting of this cryptic question and our attempt to figure out its meaning, right? According to chaos theory's notion of 'sensitive dependence on initial conditions', "small variations in the initial conditions of a dynamical system can produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect So based on this, it is entirely possible that this little game that you've initiated _will_ have an effect. However I think it is impossible to predict exaclty what that effect might be. Here's a possible scenario that demonstrates this principle: - a key footballers gets into legal trouble - the call goes out for legal help by e-mail - because he is otherwise occupied reading and commenting on this question, probonopublico-ga notices the e-mail 5 minutes later than he otherwise would have - another lawyer responds and takes up the case - that other lawyer loses the case that probonopublico-ga may have won - the key footballer is unable to compete because the case was lost - The race for the Premiership is thus shaped by this game |

Interesting theory, Augusta .... BUT ... You have confused 'this game' with football when actually 'this game' is all about opening THAT safe that's been locked away for lo 50 years. When THAT safe disgorges its secrets then watch out! It is now believed to contain Joanna Southcott's missing manuscript. |

Another arcane UK reference. I need to read up on her before I can come up with a witty repartee. http://www.btinternet.com/~joannasouthcott/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joanna_Southcott |
