do you own a domain name? Do you have access to the control panel of
said domain name through a hosting or server company? If so you use a
ftp program to upload to your Domain website site url, using your
password.

If you just created a page without having a domain, ie mywebsite.com
than you must look for free or cheap hosting company that will host
your page.

Normally you first own a website URl, ie mywebsite.com, then have a
server or host company that "hosts" your site. Your site will be
assigned an IP address, ie something like 123.45.678.910, the sever
through a DSN configurations will make sure that when someone types in
your URL address, ie mywebsite.com that the IP address sends back the
information from your page.

Sorry if this is over-simplified, but your question made it seem like
you just made an HTML webpage via a PC publisher without a
designation.

mabe you want to re-phrase your question

Making a page on publisher is the wrong way to go IMO. HTML isn't that
difficult, and it's so much more rewarding when you create something
by hand!

Blackbeltdomain's suggestion's are accurate, but will cost you money.
If this is just a small, personal website, try a free host like
www.geocities.com. The url won't be very pretty, and you are limited
in space (10 megs?), but for beginners it's a great alternative to
expensive web servers.
