I stumbled across a very cool picture of a US Marine taking a break
during the fierce fighting for the city of Hue.
It shows him very casually sitting on what appears to be a
throne-like chair in the middle of some sort of important building.
Is this picture anywhere online? Can this picture be purchased as a
quality print???

Dear pcventures,

I am sure that this is the photo you have in mind:
http://www.vwam.com/vets/hue/HueS4.html

The image shows a U.S. Marine sitting on the throne in Hue's Imperial
Palace. It was published recently in the book "Land of the Ascending
Dragon - Rediscovering Vietnam", with the photos credited to
photographer Steven L. Raymer.

Since Mr. Raymer was an Army public affairs officer from 1967 to 1969,
escorting correspondents covering the Vietnam War, I assume that he
also took this photo.

So if anyone can provide you a quality print of this photograph or
help you obtain it, it is Mr. Raymer. Therefore, you may want to
contact him:

Can you link me to a better quality version of this image?

 Thanks...

That is, alas, the only version of the image I could find anywhere,
despite hours of extensive research. I wish I could provide you a link
to an image of higher quality, but unfortunately there is no such
link.
