I need to know what states in the US, or what countries that regulate raffles the least. I would like to set up a raffle for something I have, but it appears that most states only allow it if the person/organization raffling the item is a non-profit. This is for profit. What I'm looking for is the easiest way to go about this, it could involve registering a corporation offshore if needed. |

We had a similar questin recently, from someone in the UK wanting to raffle an appartment in Spain. In the UK you need to add 'skill and judgement' eg: Q: What colour is a black cat ? Those things can be a bit dodgy, a pal of mine tried setting one up - he made a nasty nett loss. Occasionally one hears reports of similar things, generally they do not get enough punters. |
