How can I predict attendance for a museum exhibit?

Greetings,
I rather doubt that more information on the type of museum exhibit and
where the museum is will result in an answer here, but that will
certainly make a difference on the estimated attendance.  Also
pertinent are the number of regular visitors to the musuem, the time
period and season for the exhibition, the significance of the objects
exhibited and whether they will be of interest to attract people from
a greater area  - and how the exhibit is advertised to attract their
interest.

Perhaps you can provide more information.
