Hello.

A million dollars in $100 bills weighs around 20 to 23 pounds.

If the bills were in a single stack, estimates put the stack at
approximately 40 inches (3.3 feet) to 5 feet high. Obviously, if the
bills are in multiple stacks, you'd need to divide appropriately.

From CBS News:
" One million bucks in $100 bills weighs over 23 pounds and would
reach 3 feet, four inches high. "

"a million dollars in $100 bills stands five feet high and weighs over
twenty two pounds."

search strategy:
million "$100 bills" " inches high

I hope this helps.

I notice that you posted your question twice, and that another
researcher also posted an answer. Please note that my answer above
was posted first (at 20:29 PST on 05 Feb 2006, approximately 36
minutes before the other answer), so I had no way of knowing that
another researcher would post an answer.
