I need a way to automatically save a web page using ActiveX controls.
I can use the ExecWB method in Internet Explorer but I can only get it
to open the Save As dialog box and put in a file name-- can't figure
out how to push the save button automatically. Open to any
suggestions.

What I am looking for ultimately is the ability to navigate to a given
URL and save the content without human intervention. I would be open
to any suggestions on how to do this in a Matlab computing
environment.

All you need is a program/script that submits an HTTP request for a
resource to a server and writes HTTP response from the server (the
resource) to a file. Any decent software consultant, like myself, can
do it. ('Decent software consultant.' Somehow this feels really good.)
Google for independent software consultants in your area and ask them
for a quote.
