In an ORACLE package, I have a cursor which copies the data in to the temp table using BULK COLLECT. At times this causes ora-07445 error. I am using oracle 9.2.0.4 |

ORA-07445:exception encountered: core dump [string] [string] [string] [string] [string] [string] Cause:An operating system exception occurred which should result in the creation of a core file. This is an internal error. Action:Contact Oracle Support Services. They will generally suggest some new patches, OR Look for any patches for your version in Oracle that will solve your problem. |

ORA-7445 happens due to instance crash and memory fault problems. Take the stack trace from the logfile and search for possible bugs/patches at metalink.oracle.com. Some temporary relief is sometimes caused by increasing the sga size as well pga size. |

Without a stack trace this is not possible. At least upload the call stack from the generated trace file. It is even preferable to open an ITAR with Oracle Support. |
