Yesterday I was with in a park my fianse sitting in the car looking at
the river. It was abound 10PM. I saw 5 other cars parked there when
I drove in. I haven't spend 20 minutes there when a cop approached my
car and gave me a summons for "Disobeying a Park Sign". I didn't see
any signs when I drove in. According to the officer, I am not allowed
to be in the park after 9pm. The violation is Section 1-03
Sub-section C(2). This site has its description.
http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_about/rules_and_regulations/rr_1-03.html

I was given a criminal court appearance. The officer said he didn't
see us doing anything illegal other than being in the park after it is
closed. The tickets that were issued to me and my fianse had 2 errors
in them.
1. My ticket has my name misspelled.
2. Her ticket has the date incorrect.

What can I do about these tickets? What's the worst that can happen
in the court? Will this be on my record? Thanks for your help.
