N0. 1982 is not enough data.  I need data back to 1975 to reconcile
stock purchased throughout this time span.

any source of reliable, online, and "free" data going back that far.

No. Have not tried that path. Don't know how to contact the
Halliburton stockholder office. How would I go about getting their
phone number?

information. Just don't know what the information is worth to an
information provider. What do you think the information is worth?

Not certain, how much do you make per hour on consulting or research jobs?

Don't work. Am retired. Fixed income. Never did research jobs or
consulting jobs during my working life.

The best way to do this is probably to head to the library and get
Standard & Poor's records for Halliburton dividends.  The only online
sources that I'm aware of which will go back as far as you need are
fee-based services like the University of Chicago's CRSP database:
