i am looking for a song that i heard on the radio. i heard it on a
dance music station, and it was indeed a dance/rock song, and it was
about death/dying/the afterlife. i never knew who sang it, i don't
know the name of the song, and i can only vaguely remember the lyrics.
a man was singing. in terms of lyrics, i believe i remember the word
'afterlife' and some variation of 'a thousand years.' the man was
singing to/about a girl. the DJ introduced the song in what i thought
was a weird and misleading way but may be relevant: he said something
like "ok is everybody ready to party?" but it could have been
something different but equally enthusiastic/positive. it was kind of
your standard rock-y techno song, there was definitely one of those
techno-ish bursts at the beginning. the song was really weird, it was
about death, and it was sort of about this dude being ready to die or
something, ready to die and spend eternity with some girl. OK. |
