I would like to know if there are any new cars where the seats can be
configured in such a way that a normal adult can lie completely flat.
In most cars, the front seats don't go back all the way, and if the
back seats fold forward, they don't lie completely flat. It's very
simple: I want to sleep in my car, and I want to be comfortable!
Please provide links if possible. Thanks.

Two clarifications: I am 6' tall, but I don't mind curling up a
little. Secondly, I really want to find a CAR, not minivan, SUV, or
truck. Thanks!

How tall are you...
Are you only comfortable lying completely staight or do you curl? (ie
need less space)...

You say CAR but there are MANY vans and suvs that have fold into the
floor seating or removable...will a van suffice? Many are good looking
vehicles.

Chrysler (Dodge) has fold into floor 2nd and 3rd row seats ...click on

With seats removed from a van (or folded) you would have plenty of sleeping room.

OR you could try a Pickup with Tent...here are some popular ones:

Or check out a Dodge Durango or Acura MDX..both provide over 6'4" of
length with seats down/out and front seats moved forward.

Here is a nice article on what else to consider:

Flat passenger side seats are available but they are far from truly
flat for sleeping purposes...

Check out the Ford Fivehundred for instance: with the fold down front
passenger seat and rear seats you would have 9' from front to trunk!
BUT you would have a gap between the 2nd row and the passenger seat as
shown in the Grandfather Clock picture of their brouchure...

OH...Ford now has fold flat 2nd and 3rd row in the Freestar AND a flat
passenger seat...here is a

The seats in the Honda Element fold flat (front and back) to form a
"bed" that covers most of the interior. If you put a queen size air
mattress on top it's actually pretty comfortable.

You should fit diagonally in something like a Pontiac Vibe (its a
wagon/hatchback)....http://www.pontiac.com/vibe/gallery.jsp#

In CARS I have been looking into Full Sized like a Crown Vic...trouble
is the have fold down rear seats that are not completely flat to the
trunk OR the have a full sized spare in the trunk which gets in the
way.

The Pontiac Vibe is very close. In fact, I will definitely check it
out, but at first glance I think it may be a little too small. Thanks,
though!

Not a new car, but a Volvo 245 is nearly perfect for stretching out
in. Of course, I'm a little biased, every car I've owned has been a
Volvo wagon, but it really does the job well. Put the back seats down
and voila, enough room for anyone and her gear.
